Welcome to the Season of Good(ness)!
This month, Messy Artists are focusing on kindness to self and others.
“Do your little bit of good where you are; it's those little bits of good put together that overwhelm the world.” - Desmond Tutu
This month you'll be learning from Ammie Williams, Sarah Hannevik, and Andrea Okeson.
✨️ Your Story Your Way with Ammie: Where art making and memory keeping meet - honor the daily bits that add up to tell the story of you.
✨️ Step into Yourself with Sarah: Art journaling to clear your head, test out new ideas and find joy.
✨️ Life's Little Layers with Andrea: Beauty is all around, do you see it? We will let life's little gifts guide our journal process.
Ammie is a full time artist living in Atlanta, Georgia. During the day you can find her hand painting ceramics and designing bisque shapes that can be found worldwide in paint your own pottery studios. On the weekends, she can be found on the floor of her living room, surrounded by paper, markers, glue, and ephemera working in her Hobonichi Cousin and watching Real Housewives.
Sarah Hannevik is an artist based in Oslo, Norway. She uses vintage and modern materials in her compositions which give them a thoughtful quality. She uses her art journal as an incubator for ideas, emotions, inspiration and peace.
Andrea is an Artist and Designer living, working, and exploring in the Twin Cities. Her artistic journey began in sketchbooks, thick with glued ephemera and secrets, lept off the page onto large canvases, and now happily bounces between the two substrates. She can be found on Instagram at andreaokesonart and can be contacted at andreaokesonart@gmail.com
Zero expectations. Zero pressure. All the fun.
